And at the 2024 Department of Defense Warrior Games in Orlando from June 21 - 30th , Soldier athletes can count on Team Army Nation being there to support them every step of the way . They ' re like the ultimate cheerleaders , pushing them to achieve greatness . Team Army knows they couldn ' t have come this far without the support of their loved ones , and now they ' ve gained a whole new group of fans too . Jaralyn Ditlevson , a new member of Team Army Nation , knows firsthand how crucial family and friends are in her husband ' s recovery . He suffered a stroke but has made incredible progress thanks to their support . Jaralyn also praised the amazing fan support at the Army Trials in March 2024 . For Team Army , having fans cheering them on feels like having an extra teammate in the competition . It means everything to them . Retired 1st Lt . Chris Parks , a Team Army athlete , said the support from fans and the team has had a profound impact on his journey . It motivates him to push harder and come out on top . Chris ' s wife , Amy , is also part of Team Army Nation and is excited to cheer for him at the games . She feels honored to play a small role in encouraging all these military heroes . Erin Blakley , whose husband is on Team Army , is no stranger to the games . She ' s thrilled to be part of Team Army Nation again this year and believes they ' re going to win . All three women , Jaralyn , Amy , and Erin , know that the Warrior Games mean more than just winning medals . They provide a new family , a support system , and a renewed sense of purpose for their Soldiers . Erin has seen firsthand how the games have positively impacted her husband ' s mental health and helped him find purpose in life again . Don ' t get me wrong . Members of Team Army Nation know they have a job to do . Blakely said he hopes their enthusiasm is contagious and invites anyone who wants to help wounded , sick and injured service members to come to Orlando from June 21 - 30 . We don ' t just support Team Army , we support all the people who have protected and overcome it . But . . . go , Team Army! Amy Parks said .
