☷Army s top 2 uniformed leaders in budget fiscal management visit APS 2 worksite

   Herbert Gately , the director of the Coleman Army Prepositioned Stocks - 2 worksite , gave a briefing to Lt . Gen . Paul Chamberlain and Sgt . Maj . Terry Anderson during their visit to the site on April 2 . They wanted to see the site ' s capabilities and understand how funding will affect its infrastructure plans . The visit was part of ongoing efforts to improve the site after it was decided to keep it operational in 2021 . Chamberlain and Anderson met with the 405th Army Field Support Brigade ' s leadership and the team at Coleman to discuss the importance of the site and the impact of limited funding . They were also updated on the site ' s role in supporting NATO allies and partner nations during the conflict in Ukraine . The Coleman Army Prepositioned Stocks - 2 worksite received $5 million in parts and materials to support combat platforms and war efforts . During a site visit , Chamberlain and Anderson were given a tour of the facilities and learned about planned upgrades and the impact of storing equipment outdoors . Liles and Gately led the discussion , with recognition given to key leaders for their contributions . In the future , operations will move to Powidz , Poland , with the support of Army Field Support Battalion - Germany . The APS - 2 program provides ready - to - deploy packages to enhance combat capabilities and support contingency operations . The 405th AFSB , based in Germany , provides logistics support to U .
