☷United States Mint Opens Sales for the 2024 Native American $1 Coin on January 29

The US Mint started taking orders for the 2024 Native American $1 Coin on January 29th at noon EST . Each year , the Mint releases these coins with different designs that represent Native American culture or contributions . This year ' s coin celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 . You can choose from different options at different prices . The reverse side of the coin , designed by Phebe Hemphill , features an eagle staff and an American flag to symbolize Native Americans ' dual citizenship . The obverse side , created by Glenna Goodacre , shows Sacagawea with her son . You can order these coins online , and there ' s a limit of 10 items per household .
