Carlton County Public Health & Human Services is seeking (to hire) a full-time office support specialist who has a passion for working daily with Carlton County residents in a positive team environment. This position offers a daytime, weekday schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide support services to agency staff including word processing, database and spread sheet work, contact with the public, copying, file maintenance, general computer support, proofing, switchboard and receptionist duties, and other clerical functions. Must be able to meet deadlines, work effectively with clients, coworkers, the general public and other agencies. Organizational skills include maintaining mailing lists, electronic/paper filing systems, and group e-mail communications, with additional clerical duties. Other duties as assigned.
The person chosen for this position must demonstrate the ability to work positively in a team environment, function constructively during conflict resolution, and fully support the core values and mission of Carlton County Public Health and Human Services.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate or equivalent. Three (3) years office experience, including experience working with computers, various word processing software, spread sheets, data programs, and the public is essential.
Training Required:
Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
