☷Multi Convicted Felon Sentenced to Over 10 Years for Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses

According to court documents , on Aug . 27 , 2022 , Ladson was staying at a hotel in Orlando when he got into a verbal argument with another man and shot him in the neck . Thankfully , the man survived . On Nov . 16 , 2022 , Ladson was arrested at a convenience store in Orlando . Police found drugs , scales , a pistol , and ammunition in a fanny pack that Ladson had with him . He was released on bond but was later caught again on Dec . 27 , 2022 , with more firearms , ammunition , and drugs in his car . Ladson had a history of felony convictions , which made it illegal for him to possess firearms and ammunition . The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives ( ATF ) , the Orange County Sheriff’s Office , and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Gang Enforcement Unit . It was prosecuted by Assistant U . S . Attorney David Pardo . Antione Oshea Ladson , a 29 - year - old from Orlando , has been sentenced to 10 years and six months in federal prison for drug trafficking and possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon . Ladson pleaded guilty on July 11 , 2023 . This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods ( PSN ) , a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence in communities . The Department of Justice launched a violent crime reduction strategy based on fostering trust , supporting community - based organizations , setting enforcement priorities , and measuring results .
