Specialist Nathaniel Barb , a nutrition care specialist , and Captain Aireal Williams , the chief of the nutrition care division at Bayne - Jones Army Community Hospital , were seen cheering on Captain Kodi Humpal , a pediatrician , as he participated in the National Nutrition Month Price is Right challenge on March 13 at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Johnson in Louisiana . The game was created to engage both soldiers and civilian staff members in learning how to eat healthily on a budget , discovering budget - friendly recipes , and gaining tips on meal prepping . Additionally , Cathy Price , the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator , and Staff Sgt . Kylah Worthy , the Victim Advocate , from Bayne - Jones Army Community Hospital ' s Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention ( SHARP ) program , also participated in the Price is Right game on March 13 , as part of the National Nutrition Month activities . The goal of the game was to educate soldiers and civilian staff on healthy eating habits , budget - friendly recipes , and meal prepping tips . Captain Aireal Williams and Holly Seager , both registered dieticians at Bayne - Jones Army Community Hospital , aimed to raise awareness during National Nutrition Month about making informed food choices , developing healthy eating habits , and educating patients about the role of registered dieticians and nutrition and dietetic technicians in their healthcare team . These efforts were carried out at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Johnson in Louisiana . Bayne - Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Johnson , Louisiana , is focusing on raising awareness throughout the month of March about making informed food choices , developing healthy eating habits , and educating patients about the role of registered dieticians and nutrition and dietetic technicians in their healthcare team . March 13 is celebrated as National Registered Dietician Day and March 14 is Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Day . Lieutenant Colonel Nicole Rau , the deputy commander of nursing at BJACH , explained that this year ' s National Nutrition Month theme aims to encourage the Fort Johnson community to consider their health and the environment beyond just what they consume . Rau emphasized that the choices we make regarding our food and drink can have a significant impact on our health , both in the present and the future . Throughout the month , the nutrition care division is organizing various events to promote healthy grocery shopping on a budget . These events will cover topics such as sustainable eating at home and a special National Nutrition Month meal in the BJACH dining facility . Additionally , BJACH will provide an opportunity for individuals to ask their registered dietician questions , which will be answered via video on the hospital ' s social media platforms at the end of the month . Rau mentioned that the nutrition care division is passionate about nutrition and strives to educate , empower , and promote good nutrition among their patients and staff . Williams and her team have put together some cool opportunities for people to learn more about why eating right is important for your health . Holly Seager , a registered dietitian at BJACH NCD , emphasized the significance of nutrition in our health and different cultures , especially during holidays . She wants to educate people on the importance of good nutrition and how lack of knowledge can lead to poor health . Seager also highlighted the rigorous training dietitians go through before becoming experts in the field . Capt . Aireal Williams , the chief of nutrition care at BJACH , mentioned the various services her department offers , including help with weight management , pregnancy , and heart - healthy diets . She emphasized the importance of making small changes to your diet and not getting discouraged . Williams encouraged anyone interested in improving their nutrition to reach out to her team for guidance .
