The Adult Diversion Coordinator position will be responsible for daily operations of the 7th Judicial District Adult Diversion program, including staff management, operational and procedural management, budget management, grant writing, financial and statistical reporting. The employee will coordinate diversion program agreements, compliance with diversion statutes, grant reporting, and collaboration with community partners and service providers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate, manage and monitor Adult Diversion Program contracts and associated documents.
Manage assigned grants and complete required documentation.
Plan, coordinate, supervise program requirements and employees.
Coordinate program development/staffing, including, but not limited to life skills, prevention/education, gender-specific and anger management groups.
Coordinate program vendors in counties throughout the 7th Judicial District as requested.
Collaborate with program partners throughout the District to administer the Diversion Program in areas served.
Manage diversion caseload on an as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, human services, education or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 2-5 years of previous case management, community collaboration, and employee supervision experience is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Ability to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate numerous cases continuously, good verbal and written skills, including public speaking, and the ability to deal with frustrated youth, family, and community members.
Bilingual with ability to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently is preferred.
A combination of training and experience may waive a specific requirement.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current and valid Colorado Driver’s License required
Hiring Compensation Range:
$22.10 to $24.31 hourly without a related bachelor’s degree, depending upon qualifications
$24.54 to $26.99 hourly with a related bachelor’s degree, depending upon qualifications

Life insurance and employee only medical insurance is available at no cost to the employee. We have a pre-tax flexible spending account. Employees contribute 4% of salary to a 401(a) retirement account fully matched with 4% from the County along with an optional 457 tax advantaged deferred-compensation retirement plan. Paid time off is accrued at 14 hours per month with an additional 11 paid holidays in a calendar year. We have a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that includes counseling along with some legal and financial support counseling.
