A guy from Monroeville , Alabama got almost 33 years in federal prison for being part of a plan to sell meth and fentanyl . Curtis Navelle Harrison , 46 , got his sentence on February 21 in Gulfport . Cops bought meth from Louis Booker , Jr . at a house in Moss Point , then raided the place a few days later . Harrison , Booker , another guy , and a kid ran away but were caught . They found cash , drugs , and guns at the house . Texts and social media messages between Harrison and Booker showed they were working together to sell drugs . Fentanyl is super strong and dangerous , with just a tiny amount enough to kill . Harrison was already on parole for a life sentence in Alabama for trying to kill a cop and armed robbery . The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms , and Explosives and the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team . U . S . Attorney Todd W . Gee and Special Agent in Charge Joshua Jackson of the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms , and Explosives announced the news . Assistant U . S . Attorneys Jonathan Buckner and Lauren Dick handled the case with help from Assistant U . S . Attorney Gaines Cleveland .
