Hey , starting on February 8 , 2024 , at noon EST , you can pre - order products from the 2024 Liberty & Britannia Program by the United States Mint . They ' ll start shipping out in mid - May . This project is a cool collaboration between the two historic mints , bringing together the talents of their Chief Engravers to create a design featuring Liberty and Britannia . They ' ve made a stunning design that celebrates both figures equally . You can get a 24 - karat High Relief Gold Proof Coin or a 99 . 9 percent Silver Proof Medal with these collaborative designs . The front of both options shows Liberty and Britannia in profile , kind of like faces on a playing card . Liberty has a torch and stars , while Britannia has a trident and a Corinthian helmet . On the back , there ' s the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean , with two shores and trees representing both nations . After that , from noon on Friday , February 9 , 2024 , you can order up to five gold coins and 25 silver medals per household for a week .
