☷Ohio County Woman Sentenced to 10 Years for Federal Drug Charge

Chelsea Marion Banks , a 28 - year - old from Wheeling , got sentenced today to 121 months in federal prison for conspiring to distribute and possess cocaine base and fentanyl . Apparently , Banks was teaming up with someone else to sell drugs in Wheeling . The investigators searched Banks ' s home and two storage units in Pennsylvania and found over a kilogram of fentanyl , cocaine , stolen guns , ammo , and a whopping $208 , 000 in cash . After her release from prison , Banks will be under the supervision of United States Probation for three years . Carly Nogay , an Assistant U . S . Attorney , handled the case on behalf of the government . The Ohio Valley Drug Task Force , along with the ATF , Wheeling Police Department , and Pennsylvania State Police , were the ones who investigated . The honorable U . S . District Judge John Preston Bailey was in charge of the proceedings .
