Hey , check this out! So there ' s this guy named Marquel D . Payne from Evansville , Indiana who just got indicted . Apparently , he ' s been charged with having a gun as a felon and also having a machinegun . The police saw him with a 3D printer near his house and they had a hunch he was making machine gun parts . So they got a search warrant and found a bunch of stuff at his place . Like , they found around 60 plastic machine gun conversion devices , a homemade handgun with no serial number , an AR - 15 rifle , a 3D printer , and even a 3D printed silencer . Oh , and don ' t forget the ammo! Turns out , this guy has a history of criminal convictions , so he ' s not even allowed to have a gun . It ' s good they caught him though , because these illegal machinegun conversion devices are super dangerous . They can turn regular guns into fully automatic ones , and that ' s not something we want on our streets . The U . S . Attorney and the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives are all working together to crack down on this stuff and keep our communities safe . Just a reminder , an indictment is only an accusation . Hey , just so you know , all defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
