The FBI announced today that a guy from Ventura County got nabbed by the feds for having meth and illegal guns . Roy Jesus Alonzo , also known as "Casper" and "Ghost , " is 46 from Oxnard and was arrested on December 27 without any problems . They think Alonzo is connected to the Sur Town Chiques street gang and a grand jury in LA indicted him on November 30 . They ' re accusing him of having a bunch of meth with the intention to sell , carrying a gun during a drug crime , and being a felon with a gun and ammo . Apparently , he had a 9mm semi - automatic handgun and six rounds of ammo when he was caught in February 2023 , even though he had past convictions for robbery . Alonzo had his first court appearance on December 27 and they ' re keeping him locked up . The trial is set for February 20 , 2024 . If they find him guilty , he could get up to 60 years in federal prison . The Ventura County Violent Crime Task Force , which includes the FBI , Oxnard PD , Ventura County Sheriff ' s Office , and Ventura PD , is handling the investigation . Assistant United States Attorney Matt Coe - Odess is in charge of the prosecution . Just so you know , an indictment is just an accusation , and everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty in court .
