A guy from Canal Winchester named Thomas O . Crowell , also known as "T - Mack , " got convicted of a bunch of crimes like drugs , guns , and fraud . The jury made their decision today after a trial that started on January 8th . Apparently , in June 2021 , Crowell had a bunch of fentanyl , cocaine , and weed with the intent to sell them . And on top of that , he had a rifle and a Glock even though he wasn ' t supposed to . He ' s been in trouble before and wasn ' t allowed to have guns . But that ' s not all , he also lied and got some COVID - relief funding for his fake trucking business in April 2021 . He got almost 20 grand from that . If he ' s found guilty of having more than 40 grams of fentanyl , cocaine , and weed , he could get at least five years in jail , maybe even life . And being a convicted felon with a gun could mean up to 10 years behind bars . Fraud could get him 20 years . The court will decide his sentence later . The U . S . Attorney , the ATF , the Columbus Police Chief , and the Hilliard Police Chief announced the verdict today .
