   Hey everyone! This weekend , we ' re celebrating the incredible life and impact of Dr . Martin Luther King Jr . Martin Luther King Day is a super special holiday because it ' s the only one that ' s officially a National Day of Service . As we think about how Dr . King ' s actions still shape our world today , it ' s important to remember that we can make a difference too . If we want to tackle the big challenges our country faces , we need to work together . I encourage all of you to take some time out of your weekend to give back . Whether it ' s volunteering , donating to charity , or getting involved in other activities that help your community , every little bit counts . Our friends at AmeriCorps have made it super easy to find volunteer opportunities all across the country at Americorps . gov/MLKDay . Dr . King fought his whole life for a future he might never see , and by following his example , we can all do our part to create that future for future generations . Let ' s come together and honor Dr . King ' s legacy , as well as the legacies of others , to build a fairer , brighter , and better America . Have a happy Martin Luther King Day!
