The Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield public affairs team competed in the medium organization category and their recognition as the organization of the year in its inaugural year meant a lot to them , according to Chris Fletcher , the Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield public affairs director . Our awesome team of public affairs professionals works really hard every day , often in stressful situations , to share the Army ' s story with our stakeholders . It feels amazing to have our peers recognize and appreciate our hard work . Molly Cooke , the community relations chief at Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield , was recently named the AMC and IMCOM Civilian Graphic Designer of the Year . She won 3rd place in the AMC competition and 1st place in the IMCOM competition for her graphic layout and design work on the "Faces of Garrison" campaign . Cooke also took 1st place in the IMCOM competition ' s Social Media video category for Faces of Garrison . Christopher Bunnell , a Department of Defense Civilian , has been serving as the Unit Movement Coordinator Deployment Branch Chief at Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield Armed Forces Support Battalion for the past eight years . In this role , Bunnell and his team handle the logistics for equipment staging and transportation for the 3rd Infantry Division and other units . The AFSBn civilian employees are crucial to the movement operations on the base , with their extensive knowledge on facilitating unit movements . The series aims to highlight and appreciate the behind - the - scenes work of garrison employees who keep things running smoothly every day . Dina McKain , the former community relations chief at Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield , received recognition in the AMC and IMCOM competitions for her Community Relations Campaign . McKain , who recently retired , was acknowledged for her efforts in planning and executing a comprehensive community engagement program that improved relationships with neighboring communities . This program included various activities such as Come Meet Your Army tours , cemetery tours , community outreach , and support for veteran organizations . Cooke will now compete at the Army - level in the 2023 Maj . Gen . Keith L . Ware Communications competition for Civilian Graphic Designer of the Year .
