The contract is funded by the Foreign Military Sales customer in the amount of $82 , 345 , 771 . The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River , Maryland , is the contracting activity . Bahfed Corp . in Portland , Oregon; Pacific IC Source in Yucaipa , California; Laguna Components in Laguna Beach , California; and Federal Merchants in Indianapolis , Indiana have each been awarded an indefinite - delivery , indefinite - quantity contract . The total value of all contracts is estimated to be $45 million , and the companies will have the opportunity to compete for individual orders . These contracts are for the procurement of various types of instrumentation and electronic components to support machine shop inventory for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division ( NAWCWD ) Applied Manufacturing Technology Division and NAWCWD Propulsion Laboratory . The work will be performed in Portland , Oregon; Yucaipa , California; Laguna Beach , California; Indianapolis , Indiana ( 90% ) ; and China Lake , California ( 10% ) , and is expected to be completed by March 2029 . No funds will be obligated at the time of award , and funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued . These contracts were competitively procured as a small business set - aside , with five proposals received . The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake , California , is the contracting activity . Northrop Grumman Systems Corp . , based in San Diego , California , has been awarded a $19 , 227 , 992 modification to a previously awarded contract . This modification provides logistics and test support for mission control and operator training systems for MQ - 4C Triton air vehicles . The work also includes engineering and field service representative technical support to sustain the vehicles for intelligence , surveillance , and reconnaissance missions for the Navy and the government of Australia . The work will be performed in Patuxent River , Maryland ( 37 . 55% ) ; San Diego , California ( 23 . 54% ) ; Jacksonville , Florida ( 8 . 75% ) ; Mayport , Florida ( 7 . 54% ) ; Baltimore , Maryland ( 6 . 34% ) ; Salt Lake City , Utah ( 1% ) . We ' ve got some contracts going out to different locations like Sterling , Virginia and even outside the U . S . The work is expected to be done by May 2024 . Funds are being allocated for various projects , including the design and construction of a craft in Louisiana . Additionally , there ' s a contract for a U . S . Flag container vessel to support the Air Force , with potential options to extend the contract . The Army also awarded a contract for technical services for the M109 Family of Vehicles . Lots of work happening in different locations , with more to come in the future . Moving on to the Defense Logistics Agency , M&M Manufacturing LLC in Lajas , Puerto Rico just got a modification to their contract . They ' re getting an additional $8 , 446 , 500 for the second one - year option period of their one - year base contract ( SPE1C1 - 22 - D - 1519 ) with three one - year option periods for trousers . This is a firm - fixed - price contract with indefinite delivery and quantity . The ordering period will end on March 11 , 2025 . The Army and Air Force will be using these trousers , and they ' re using fiscal 2024 through 2025 defense working capital funds for this contract . The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania is handling the contract . In Cincinnati , Ohio , they just got a contract worth $56 , 579 , 967 to get some armor kits for the M109A7 Self - Propelled Howitzer and M992A3 Carrier , Ammunition , Tracked vehicles . They put out a call for bids online and got four responses . The specific work locations and funding will be figured out for each order , and they expect to finish everything by December 31 , 2029 .
