☷Schuylkill County Man Indicted for Fentanyl Trafficking

In Scranton , Pennsylvania , a dude named Jose Miguel Peralta , Jr . , got hit with some serious charges . The U . S . Attorney’s Office said he was indicted by a grand jury for trafficking fentanyl in Luzerne County . This guy is accused of conspiring to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl , as well as selling it four times and being a convicted felon with a firearm . The Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force did the investigation . Assistant U . S . Attorney Robert J . O’Hara is handling the case . This is all part of a program called Project Safe Neighborhoods , which is all about making our communities safer and reducing violent crime . If Peralta is found guilty of the fentanyl charges , he could get at least ten years in prison , up to life , plus supervised release and a fine . If he ' s found guilty of the firearms charge , he could get up to 15 years in prison , plus supervised release and a fine . But hey , these are just allegations and everyone is innocent until proven guilty in court .
