The Parks and Recreation Department will host its next Stride & Ride event , which will take place at the Rancho Solano Golf Course at 3250 Rancho Solano Parkway on Tuesday , March 12 , from 12–6 pm .
   Come out for a community day! Get your exercise on the 2 . 4 - mile walking - only course located on the back nine holes or take advantage of the 2 . 66 - mile biking - only course on the front nine holes . Visit one of Fairfield’s beautiful public golf courses while it is closed for regular play . A chance like this only comes around twice per year , weather permitting . Admission is free and open to all ages! No pets , only service animals permitted .
