Fairfield California - Park and Open Spaces to close due to anticipated storm 30 January 2024 ( news )

   Due to the complete saturation of the soil , and the anticipated precipitation coming in the next storm , we will be closing Rockville Park and our Open Spaces starting at sunset on Tuesday , January 30 , 2024 .
   We are tracking close to two inches of rain over the next two days , scattered showers on February 2 and 3 , and more than two inches of rainfall predicted for Sunday - Tuesday , February 4 - 6 . The additional rain will cause unsafe road and trail conditions . Park and Open Spaces will reopen on Wednesday , February 7 , at 9 a . m .
