☷Seven Time Convicted Felon Pleads Guilty to Illegally Possessing a Firearm and Ammunition Distribution of a Controlled Substance

Hey , check this out: Evan Ingram , a guy from Clearwater , just admitted to dealing and having cocaine and a gun even though he ' s a convicted felon . If he ' s found guilty , he could be looking at 20 years in prison for the drug charges and a minimum of 15 years , but possibly even life , for having the firearm . No date for his sentencing yet . This dude has quite the rap sheet too , with previous convictions for all sorts of crimes like cocaine possession , robbery , assault , and selling fake drugs . He was busy in August and September 2022 , selling cocaine on multiple occasions and even selling guns on a few of those days . The Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives and the Clearwater Police Department worked together on this investigation . Assistant U . S . Attorney Samantha Newman is handling the prosecution . This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods ( PSN ) , a program that aims to reduce violence and gun crime in our communities . The Department of Justice launched a strategy on May 26 , 2021 to strengthen PSN by building trust , supporting community organizations , prioritizing enforcement , and measuring results .
