POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform primarily physical tasks in the maintenance, operation, and repair of city parks/cemetery facilities and public landscaped areas. This is an entry-level position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. required, current and valid TX driver’s license, and acceptable driving record. Prior public works experience preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check. Need to be available for weekend or night call-outs (if necessary).
PAY GRADE:
2 ($28,256 - $40,971) depending upon experience and qualifications.
LOCATION
: Public Works department
STATUS
: Full-time, non-exempt, at-will, M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
