In Great Falls , Brian Todd Olson , 37 , from Helena , pleaded not guilty on March 26 to charges of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm . If convicted , Olson could face up to 15 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Olson was detained while further proceedings take place . The investigation was conducted by the Helena Police Department and Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office . On March 22 , Terrence Derrell Milton , 34 , from Spokane , Washington , appeared on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl , possession with intent to distribute fentanyl , and distribution of fentanyl . If convicted , Milton could face a minimum of five years to 40 years in prison , a $5 million fine , and at least four years of supervised release . Milton was detained while further proceedings take place . The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Tri - Agency Task Force . Khalif Ali - Daquane Jackson , 36 , from Decatur , Georgia , appeared on charges of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition . If convicted , Jackson could face up to 15 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Jackson was detained while further proceedings take place . The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives , Helena Police Department , and Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office . Brandon Lee Romero , 29 , from Poplar , faced charges of robbery , carjacking , transportation of a stolen vehicle , and assault with a dangerous weapon . If convicted , Romero could face up to 15 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Romero was detained while further proceedings take place . The investigation was conducted by Fort Peck Law Enforcement Services , Williston Police Department , and Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office . In Missoula , Joseph Patrick Mullaney , 46 , from Butte , pleaded not guilty on March 28 to charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine . If convicted of this charge , Mullaney could face a minimum of 10 years to life in prison , a $10 million fine , and at least five years of supervised release . The investigation was conducted by the FBI , Montana Division of Criminal Investigation , Montana Highway Patrol , and U . S . The Probation Office and Drug Enforcement Administration did the investigation . Case reference on PACER . Scott Gilbert Apgar , 41 , from Libby , is charged with possession and distribution of controlled substances . If convicted , Apgar could face a minimum of five years to 40 years in prison , a $5 million fine , and at least four years of supervised release . Apgar is currently detained . The investigation was carried out by Homeland Security Investigations , Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office , Montana Highway Patrol , and Drug Enforcement Administration . Case reference on PACER . Gerry Alen Albus , 64 , from Elmo , is charged with theft of government money and Social Security fraud . If convicted , Albus could face a maximum of 10 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Albus has been released pending further proceedings . The investigation was conducted by the Social Security Administration Office of Inspector General and Montana Division of Criminal Investigation . Case reference on PACER . Teri Anne Bell , 57 , from Columbia Falls , is charged with wire fraud . If convicted , Bell could face a maximum of 20 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Bell has been released pending further proceedings . The investigation was done by the FBI . Case reference on PACER . Jerry Leon Kamps , 63 , from Dillon , is charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm . If convicted , Kamps could face a maximum of 15 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Kamps is currently detained . The investigation was carried out by the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives , Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office , Dillon Police Department , and Montana Probation and Parole . Case reference on PACER . Jordale Thomas Redwolf , 36 , a transient , appeared in Billings before U . S . Magistrate Judge Timothy J . Cavan and pleaded not guilty to charges of assault with a dangerous weapon . If convicted , Redwolf could face a maximum of 10 years in prison , a $250 , 000 fine , and three years of supervised release . Redwolf is currently detained .
