Feb 15 DPCD Update 
   In this DPCD Update , Claire Ricker , Arlington’s Director of Planning and Community Development ( DPCD )  invites residents to the Feb . 29 virtual Informational Master Plan Webinar , congratulates Arlington Public Schools for being named a Mass Save Climate Leader , and reports that an intermunicipal agreement has been made between the “Battle Road” towns of Arlington , Concord , Lexington , and Lincoln for shared resources for the Semiquincentennial celebration of 2025 . She also reports that the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities ( EOHLC ) has confirmed that Arlington is compliant with MBTA Communities Legislation .

   Arlington Public Schools named Mass Save Climate Leader 
   Award recognizes Schools’ energy efficiency achievements .
    
   Arlington Public Schools were among 14 recipients of the 2023 Mass Save Climate Leaders award , which names organizations that effectively use Mass Save incentives to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions . A recent award ceremony at the Massachusetts State House recognized the energy efficiency achievements of the new , all - electric High School and the Gibbs Middle School renovation .
