If you are interested in joining a Town committee or commission or may want to run for Town Meeting or other elected office , Arlington Civic Academy is a great place to start .    Arlington Reads Together 2024: Solito 
   Virtual talk with author Zamora on March 30 .  
   The library’s annual community read program , Arlington Reads Together ( ART ) , returns in March 2024 .   This year’s selected title , Solito , by Javier Zamora , is a New York Times bestseller and the winner of the Los Angeles Times Christopher Isherwood Prize for Autobiography . In this book , a young poet tells the unforgettable story of his harrowing migration from El Salvador to the United States at the age of nine in this moving , page - turning memoir . The Robbins Library is making the book available in many forms . Book discussions and other events will take place throughout March culminating with a virtual author talk with Zamora on March 30th .

   Overnight Parking Pilot Extended to June 30

   The Select Board has extended the Overnight Parking Permit Pilot through June 30th of this year . Currently about 60 permits are still available . Please note you will have to visit the Select Board office to complete your application . Learn more about this program and how to apply at
