   A contractor will close Brewer Road to through traffic between Ethel Drive and Ridgeview Avenue in Winston - Salem weekdays from 9 a . m . to 4 p . m . starting Thursday , Feb . 29 , for improvements to the wastewater system .
   Work is expected to be completed by Friday , March 8 . The contractor is responsible for all traffic control and detours will be in place . Motorists are encouraged to plan for alternate routes .
