The Vail Police Department is seeking information about an individual with long black hair and a dark beard wearing a black beanie , sweatshirt and pants . This individual came into the victim’s place of employment in West Vail Jan . 28 , behaving strangely before grabbing her at the register and then fleeing the area . This occurred after sending the victim strange and threatening messages over a period of several days , including indicating that they knew where she worked . The victim had not reported the texting incidents until after this in - person encounter had occurred .
