The Town of Vail will sponsor another installment in its Lunch with the Locals series on Wednesday , Feb . 7 at Noon at the Grand View Room above Lionshead Welcome Center . Lindsay DeFrates , Deputy Director of Public Relations at the Colorado River District , will discuss the work being done by the Shoshone Water Right Preservation Coalition to permanently protect the flows of the Upper Colorado River Basin through the acquisition of the water rights attached to the historic Shoshone hydropower plant . Experts from Eagle River Water & Sanitation District , and Town of Vail will be on hand to answer questions about what residents can do to help
   Restore the Gore
    . There will also be stickers and informational brochures given away to attendees .
