☷Two Baltimore “Triple C” Gang Members Sentenced to More Than 20 Years in Federal Prison for a Racketeering Conspiracy Including Murders and Attempted Murders

An investigation led to the guilty pleas of 34 members and associates of the "Triple C" gang in Baltimore . Two defendants , Darien Coleman and Darrell Carter , were sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their involvement in a racketeering conspiracy , including murders and attempted murders . The gang , also known as Cruddy Conniving Crutballs , operated throughout the city . Between 2015 and 2020 , Triple C members were involved in various criminal activities , including murders , shootings , robberies , and carjackings , in order to establish their reputation and gain respect . They also profited from selling drugs , killing dealers , carrying out contract killings , and engaging in street robberies . The gang used firearms to commit crimes and communicated with each other through social media . Coleman admitted to his involvement in a murder in 2018 , while Carter confessed to a murder in 2015 and an attempted murder in 2016 . In the 3200 block of Tivoly Avenue in Baltimore , someone from the group fired a gun trying to get the $10 , 000 contract on A . F . ' s life . Also , Carter had a loaded 9mm handgun with 11 rounds of ammo on November 12 , 2020 , in the 2300 block of Harford Road . Besides these violent acts , both defendants admitted to distributing and having drugs like crack cocaine for the racketeering enterprise . This investigation resulted in 34 members and associates of Triple C pleading guilty .
