National Night Out 2022 is underway! Registration opens May 23rd at 8am .
    
   This year , the City of Fairfield will host its 39th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday , August 2 , from 5 - 8pm .
   Fairfield neighborhoods are invited to participate in National Night Out this year on Tuesday , August 2 from 5pm - 8pm . On this day , residents in neighborhoods throughout the City of Fairfield are asked to lock their doors , turn on outside lights , and spend an evening outside with neighbors , Fairfield Police , Fairfield Fire , and City Officials .
    
   National Night Out is an annual crime prevention event and community - building campaign that promotes police - community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie that make our neighborhoods safer , more caring places to live .
    
   During National Night Out , neighborhoods host a variety of events ranging from small potlucks , front yard chats , and BBQs to block parties , ice cream socials , and much more! This is your chance to be creative , have fun , and celebrate your neighborhood!
    
   Registration officially opens Monday , May 23rd at 8AM . Registration is FREE and gives Fairfield Police , Fairfield Fire and city representatives an opportunity to attend local neighborhood events as time and circumstances permit . The first 15 registrants receive an official NNO2022 basket for your party . On Monday , May 23rd , register your event here
