Welcome to another edition of the Loveland Public Library’s weekly newsletter . We hope you have been warm and well . As temperatures drop , we want to remind you that our doors are open to anyone seeking warmth . Keep reading to stay informed about and find out how you can get involved .
Updates to the Affordable Connectivity Program:The Affordable Connectivity Program will no longer be accepting enrollment after Feb . 8th . If you are enrolled before , you can still receive benefits until the program ends in April , unless additional federal funding is received . For the latest updates , please visit

Wi - Fi Hotspots Available Without a Wait:
Wi - Fi hotspots are now available for checkout with no wait . Access free internet at home , work , or on the go with your library card . Check out a hotspot from the technology service desk upstairs in the library . For more information , call ( 970 ) 962 - 2599 .
Tax Season:
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance ( VITA ) is available at the House of Neighborly Service Life Center from February 5 to April 15 , Monday through Thursday starting at 9 am . It ' s a walk - in site , first - come , first - served . VITA packets and 1040/1040SR Instruction Booklets are available at various locations in the library . Visit the tax table at the front of the library for Informational flyers and tax forms . VITA packets are also available at the Adult Services Desk .
Opportunities for Poets:
Teen Poetry Contest: Express your thoughts on relationships and stand a chance to win a $200 Amazon gift card . Winners will have the opportunity to read their poem at a library celebration on Feb 29th .
Encountering a Poet workshops in February and March . Join poets exploring the works of
Dean Young ( 2/3 ) and
Charles Simic ( 3/9 ) . Registration is required .
Get Involved:
Fandom Contest: Get ready to create and geek out during our annual Teen Hangout Fandom Contest! Want to bake a cake? Write some epic fanfiction? Construct a cosplay costume? We cannot wait to see what you make!

Call for Art: Colorado artists , submit your artwork for the 2024 Summer Learning Program themed "Adventure Begins at Your Library" by Feb . 31st . Selected artists will receive special prizes and have their art featured .
