Join us for the latest edition of the Loveland Public Library Newsletter! Discover the latest updates , upcoming events , and initiatives that contribute to our ongoing mission of serving the community .
Celebrating 5 Years of Providing Mobile Laundry Services:
"In our first five years , we served approximately 3 , 250 individuals , washing , drying , and folding over 12 , 000 loads . This achievement wouldn ' t have been possible without our excellent partners: school districts , library staff , city officials , and our remarkable volunteers who braved various conditions running 12 machines out of an old U - Haul truck . "
This service is offered on an ongoing basis . Click here to view the schedule . Drop off your laundry items to be washed , dried , and folded by volunteers from Homeward Alliance ' s Mobile Laundry unit .
Make sure to drop off all laundry by Noon . Last pick up is by 3pm of the same day .

New Year , New Art at the Loveland Public Library:
In 2024 , we ' ve welcomed two new art installations to the Loveland Public Library . Explore the collection of the art show titled "Visions of A Young Artist , " featuring artwork from Thompson School District students on display until March 5th . Additionally , there ' s a new installation in the Galleria featuring works from the community . Get inspired and appreciate the diverse talents of our local artists .
Digital Navigator Service Available Soon in Spanish:
Exciting news! Our Digital Navigator service will soon be available in Spanish . Spanish speakers can schedule appointments with Digital Navigators starting in the upcoming weeks . Stay tuned for more information on how to book an appointment .
Get Involved:
Summer Learning Call for Art Contest: The Loveland Public Library is excited to announce its call for artists of all ages for the upcoming 2024 Summer Learning Program . This year’s theme , "Adventure Begins at Your Library , " invites artists to let their creativity soar and explore the endless possibilities of adventure within the library ' s vibrant spaces .
The theme provides a canvas for artists to express their unique visions and interpretations of what adventure at the library means to them . Participants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild , creating captivating artwork that resonates with the spirit of exploration .
Artists residing in Colorado are invited to submit their entries by the deadline of February 29th at 12:00 PM . The submission process is free of charge , ensuring that all local talents will be able to contribute .
Selected artists will not only have the honor of seeing their artwork showcased in the 2024 Summer Learning Program but will also receive a special prize as a token of appreciation for their creative contributions . Additionally , the chosen pieces will be featured in promotional materials , including web graphics , social media , stickers , and shirts , providing artists with a unique platform to showcase their work to a wider audience .
To participate , please ensure your submissions reach the Loveland Public Library by the deadline . The library is eager to celebrate the diverse interpretations of adventure in the library setting and looks forward to showcasing the selected artwork throughout the summer program .
