Part-Time II
Hours/Shift:
All open operational hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions
Supervises children between the ages of 1 to 9 years old in the Kids Club Room
Actively participate in games and activities with children
Make daily safety checks of Kids Club Room and reports any concerns to supervisor
Daily cleaning of room, including toys and playing surfaces
Prevents accidents through enforcement of policies, procedures and rules
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and patrons
Assist patrons with online reservations for use of the Kids Club
Provide high level customer service under minimal supervision
Regular and reliable attendance
Completes additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
Ability to act quickly and remain calm in emergency situations
An understanding of Kids Club rules, policies and procedures
Decision making skills
CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain
Must be at least 16 years old.
Previous child care experience preferred
Tools and Equipment Used
Television, telephone, computer, cleaning equipment, a variety of toys and play equipment

Walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, use legs and arms
Occasionally required to climb or balance; bend over, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
