A guy named Samuel Arthur Thompson from St . Augustine got sentenced to a ridiculously long time in prison for doing some messed up stuff with kids . He was making and looking at child sex abuse material , even though he was already a registered sex offender . He also messed with a computer and had a gun , which he shouldn ' t have had as a felon . The court also took away his computers and gun . This dude was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars to work on their big video board thing , but they found out about his past and didn ' t want anything to do with him . Before his contract ended , he messed with their computer system and caused some problems during games . The Jaguars figured out what he was doing and set up a trap to catch him . Eventually , the FBI raided his place and found even more evidence on his devices . The FBI worked with the U . S . Marshals Service , the Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms and Explosives ( ATF ) , and the St . Johns County Sheriff ' s Office on this case . The prosecution was handled by Assistant U . S . Attorneys Laura Cofer Taylor , Brenna Falzetta , and Adam Duso . The asset forfeiture is being managed by Assistant U . S . Attorneys Mai Tran and Jennifer Harrington . This case is part of Project Safe Childhood , a big effort by the Department of Justice to fight against child sexual exploitation and abuse . They started it in May 2006 and it ' s a nationwide initiative . The United States Attorneys ' Offices and the Criminal Division ' s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section ( CEOS ) lead the project . They bring together federal , state , and local resources to find and catch people who sexually exploit children and to help the victims .
