On January 26 , 2023 , law enforcement searched Henderson ' s apartment in Fitchburg and found three handguns and drug packaging . Henderson confessed that one of the handguns belonged to him . He also admitted to flushing cocaine down the toilet just before the police arrived . Henderson ' s past felony convictions , including substantial battery and having a gun as a felon , make it illegal for him to possess firearms . This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods ( PSN ) , a program by the U . S . Justice Department aimed at reducing violent crime . PSN focuses on collaboration between state and federal prosecutors and all levels of law enforcement to address gun crime , particularly felons illegally possessing firearms and ammunition , as well as violent and drug - related crimes involving firearms . Judge William M . Conley , in giving a four - year sentence , took into account Henderson ' s long and violent criminal history that began when he was 18 years old . At 27 years old , Henderson severely beat someone with a pistol , which Judge Conley described as a horrific incident . Additionally , Judge Conley highlighted the danger of Henderson having firearms while involved in drug dealing . The Fitchburg Police Department , Dane County Sheriff ' s Office , and Bureau of Alcohol , Tobacco , Firearms , and Explosives conducted the investigation that led to Henderson ' s charges .
