☷Federal Reserve Board accepting applications for its Community Advisory Council

   The Federal Reserve Board said on Monday that it ' s accepting applications from people who want to be considered for membership on the Community Advisory Council ( CAC ) . The CAC was created in 2015 and gives advice to the Board on issues that affect consumers and communities . It ' s made up of a diverse group of experts and representatives from different organizations that focus on things like affordable housing , community development , small business , and wealth building . CAC members meet twice a year with the Board of Governors in Washington to give their perspectives on the economic and financial needs of consumers and communities , especially those with low and moderate incomes . The Board will announce the new CAC members in the fall of 2024 . People who applied in previous years are encouraged to apply again in 2024 .
