New Directions Technologies Inc . , based in Ridgecrest , California , has been awarded a contract worth $111 , 409 , 699 . This contract is for engineering support services , including system testing , management analysis , and training , to assist with major projects involving missiles and sensor systems for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division Research and Engineering Department . The work will primarily take place in China Lake , California , with some work also being done in Point Mugu , California , and is expected to be completed by February 2029 . The contract was competitively procured through a small business set aside , with three offers received . The contracting activity is NAWCWD , China Lake , California . A number of companies have been awarded a combined modification contract worth $60 , 000 , 000 to increase the capacity of their previously - awarded contracts for general building projects . This brings the total cumulative value of all 10 contracts to $1 , 010 , 000 , 000 . The work will be carried out in various states , including Florida , Georgia , Louisiana , Mississippi , South Carolina , Tennessee , and Texas , and is expected to be completed by September 2026 . The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast , located in Jacksonville , Florida , is the contracting activity . General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc . , based in Poway , California , has been awarded a $43 , 131 , 929 order for engineering , logistics , and support services for the Marine Air - Ground Task Force Unmanned Aircraft System Expeditionary/Medium Altitude Long Endurance MQ - 9A . This order is against a previously issued basic ordering agreement and will contribute to capability development and sustainment for the Marine Corps . We ' ve got some work lined up in Poway , California , Indo - Pacific Command Theater , Yuma , Arizona , Kaneohe Bay , Hawaii , Patuxent River , Maryland , Cherry Point , North Carolina , and Mechanicsburg , Pennsylvania . It should all be wrapped up by February 2025 . Funds totaling $17 , 485 , 345 will be used for the project . Tigua Technology Services Inc . out of El Paso , Texas , snagged a $35 , 000 , 000 contract for technical and analytical services support . They ' ll be working in Quantico , Virginia until February 2029 . Walsh Federal LLC in Chicago , Illinois , landed a $10 , 121 , 251 contract modification for aircraft maintenance hangar work at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point . They ' ll be on the job in Havelock , North Carolina until April 2026 . Prism Maritime LLC in Chesapeake , Virginia , secured a $7 , 939 , 991 contract modification for shipboard and facility installations of Special Warfare and Expeditionary Systems technology systems . The work will be done in various locations like Crane , Indiana; San Diego , California; Portsmouth , Virginia; Norfolk , Virginia; Bangor , Washington; and Kings Bay , Georgia , and should be finished by February 2027 if all options are used . The funding will be provided incrementally from different sources . The contracts were awarded to various companies for projects such as bomb body assembly , construction of barracks , and engineering breaching systems . Work locations and completion dates vary for each project . Chantilly , Virginia just got a $34 million contract for security services , bringing the total value up to $89 million . Work will be done in Arlington and should be finished by March 2025 . The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is handling the contract . Goodrich Corp in Ohio also scored a $10 million contract for F - 15E heat sink support . And BAE Systems in Iowa got an $8 . 5 million contract for anti - spoofing modules .
