Celebrate the 15th Birthday of Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library
The Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library is turning 15 and Avondale is throwing a party to celebrate on January 27 , 2024 from 2 - 4 p . m .
The event will kick off with a special storytime session , followed by craft activities and mini - golf . There will also be delicious treats available for as long as they last . Bricks & Minifigs Avondale will be joining and providing brick - building activities for all who attend .
"We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our community , " said library branch manager , Jami Thompson . "The Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library has been a hub of learning and discovery for the past 15 years , and we can ' t wait to continue serving our patrons for many more years to come . "
She added: “The library staff has been working hard to plan an unforgettable event for all ages . Whether you ' re a long - time patron or new to the library , there will be something for everyone at this birthday celebration . ”
