Avondale Unveils 2024 Leading EDGE Award Nominations , Encourages Community Participation
The City of Avondale has opened public nominations for the prestigious Avondale Leading EDGE Awards , spotlighting outstanding retail and restaurants that have made a significant impact on the community . This year , the public is not only invited to vote for their favorite businesses for the "People ' s Choice Award" but can also nominate businesses for the "Community Impact for Business Award . "
Residents are encouraged to participate in selecting the recipient of the coveted "People ' s Choice Award" by voting for their favorite retail and restaurant establishments of Avondale . The top - voted businesses will be unveiled on social media platforms , particularly on the @AvondaleEDGE handle .
In recognition of businesses going beyond their regular operations to make a positive impact on the community , the public is invited to nominate businesses for the “Community Impact for Business Award” , demonstrating exceptional community engagement . Nominations can be submitted online at avondaleedge . com/leading - edge - awards .
The culmination of this exciting initiative will take place at the State of the City event in April 2024 , where the Leading EDGE Awards will be presented to the deserving winners .

The nomination period will run from January 8 through January 26 . Round 2 voting for the top 3 “People’s Choice Award” finalists will open February 5 and close February 23 .
