   Cape Fear Creek Week is returning this March with new opportunities to celebrate our local waterways! 
   Cape Fear Creek Week provides opportunities for the community to connect with , celebrate , and care for the local waterways of the Cape Fear Region . Creek Week will be held March 18 - 23 , 2024 with educational presentations , nature hikes , and more .  Cape Fear Creek Week is a collaboration between N . C . Cooperative Extension , City of Wilmington’s Heal our Waterways , Cape Fear River Watch , NC Coastal Landtrust , New Hanover County Soil and Water Conservation District , Alliance for Cape Fear Trees , and NC Coastal Federation .
