The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is working closely with our partners in the criminal justice system to ensure the safety of this community . Employees with the MCAO who have the ability to from home and those who are in high - risk populations are teleworking to do our part to slow the spread of this virus .
   The Judicial Branch of Arizona , the Clerk of the Court , the Office of the Public Defender and this office are working together to ensure we are adhering to public health recommendations , while also ensuring the rights of defendants and victims are protected .
   We will continue to monitor the situation and appreciate the hard work of our staff during these uncertain times .
