The City of Lewisville is now accepting applications for Arts Support Grants for Fiscal Year 2024 - 25 . All applications will be submitted online at

   Grant applications are submitted to , and reviewed by , the Arts Advisory Board each spring . A recommendation is included in the annual proposed budget for City Council consideration , and grant awards are made on an annual basis . Eight grants were awarded in FY 2023–24 , totaling $125 , 000 .
   The application deadline is Thursday , April 18 , at 5 p . m .
   An arts organization meeting all criteria listed below is eligible to apply for an Arts Support Grant:
   Nonprofit tax - exempt arts organizations
   Proposing a program/event/exhibition to take place within the city limits of Lewisville Events may be held outside of Lewisville with approval of the City Council
   Must have successfully fulfilled all prior contractual obligations to the City of Lewisville
   Must have local ( Lewisville resident ) representation on its Board of Directors
   A representative of the organization must have attended the pre - application training session to be scheduled annually
   Must have a minimum of two - year history of producing public events in Lewisville
   There will be a mandatory workshop for all potential grant applicant groups on Thursday , March 7 , at 6 p . m . This year’s training session will be held via Zoom . This annual , required training session is held to learn about changes to the application and its requirements , details about using the online tool for applying , and reporting expectations . At least one representative of any interested applicant organization must attend this training to qualify for a grant .
   Applicant groups also will be expected to give a presentation about their application to the Arts Advisory Board in early May as part of the review process . Dates and times for these presentations will be available at
