LOMPOC , CA , February 29 , 2024 – The Lompoc Public Library & Women’s March - Santa Maria Valley ( WMSMV ) have partnered to present All About YOUth - Lompoc , an event for young people to discuss how the Central Coast can offer better economic opportunities and a better quality of life to its younger residents .
   Teens and young adults are invited to register for the free community youth program to be presented at the Lompoc Public Library’s Grossman Gallery on Saturday , March 9 , 2024 .
   The event will have roundtable discussions followed by a free catered lunch by Lompoc food truck Sassafrass along with giveaways and prizes including local boba café Teaklish gift certificates .
   Youth will discuss their answers to questions like , “What is the biggest issue Lompoc youth face right now?” and “Does Lompoc provide opportunities for you to succeed?” The discussions will be anonymously documented and the information will be shared with other Lompoc and Central Coast youth organizations like Future for Lompoc Youth and Future Leaders of America to help create positive change on the Central Coast .
   Starting at noon , families are invited to come and celebrate youth on the North Avenue - facing library lawn with a sidewalk story , giant blocks activity , resource fair and food trucks . No registration is required for this family event .
   Participating food trucks include Sarrrap Filipino Food , Tacos y Mariscos El Culichi and Big Jayke ' s Signature Noodles , with food available for purchase . The resource fair will include local organization booths such as The Lompoc Teen Center , Future for Lompoc Youth , NAACP Santa Maria/Lompoc branch , Future Leaders of America , the Lompoc Public Library’s Library of Things among others .
   Young people between the ages of 14 and 30 may register for the All About YOUth program at
