Starting Wednesday , Jan . 31 Clark County and participating government agencies will host two online surplus auctions – one for vehicles and equipment and a separate one for miscellaneous items – on JJ Kane Auction’s website at

The auctions feature items used or acquired by area police and government agencies including cars , trucks , construction equipment , computers , electronics , and office equipment . Bidding for the vehicles and equipment sale opens at 9 a . m . on Wednesday Jan . 31 , and closes at 9 a . m . Monday , Feb . 5 . Bidding for the miscellaneous auction opens at 9 a . m . on Jan . 31 and closes at 9 a . m . on Feb . 6 . Catalogs listing hundreds of items to be sold are available for viewing on JJ Kane’s website and get updated regularly as the sales dates get closer . Information about registering as a bidder is on the website in addition to the terms and conditions for participation .

: Many of the items to be sold at auction can be seen in - person at the TNT Auction ( now doing business as JJ Kane Auction ) during an on - site preview on
Friday , Feb . 2

Saturday , Feb . 3 .
The lot is located at 14655 Grand Valley Parkway in North Las Vegas southwest of I - 15 and Exit 58 . The lot will be open 8 a . m . to 5 p . m . on both preview days . About 200 vehicles and 300 lots of miscellaneous items will be sold .
“The preview is an opportunity for interested bidders to see some of the items in person before placing your bids online , ” said Jeff Benites , manager of Clark County’s Automotive Services Division .
Clark County is working with JJ Kane Auction to host the auction . The government surplus auctions are typically held three times a year in February , May and November to sell vehicles and equipment used or acquired by government agencies .
