Sausalito could receive another 
   two to three inches of rain
    from a winter storm that is expected to arrive on the night of Saturday , February 3 and continue into Monday . Wind gusts accompanying the rain could approach 40 mph , according to the 
   National Weather Service
    .
   The additional rain will fall on soil that is already saturated from the heavy rain that Sausalito has received over the past two weeks , increasing the likelihood of downed trees and mudflows .
   If you see a fallen tree or branch in the public right - of - way — or a mudflow of any size — please report it to the Department of Public Works via 
   online form
    . If you feel the situation constitutes an emergency , call 9 - 1 - 1 .
