Preliminary Information: On February 23 , 2024 , at approximately 2:17 p . m . , Zone1 Officers responded to Grady Hospital in response to two individuals arriving by private vehicle with gunshot wounds .   Upon arrival at the hospital , officers located a 23 - year - old male and a 21 - year - old female who had both sustained gunshot wounds . Both victims were alert , conscious , and breathing .   Preliminary information suggests that the incident occurred near the intersection of Joseph E . Lowery Blvd SW and Sells Ave SW in what appeared to be a road rage incident .   Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident .   The investigation continues .
