Preliminary Information: On 2/21/24 , around 8pm , officers responded to 778 Magnolia Way NW in reference to a carjacking . Upon arrival , officers met with a male victim who stated two armed male suspects carjacked his vehicle . Preliminary investigation indicates two armed male suspects approached the victim with firearms drawn and demanded the keys to his vehicle . The suspects forced the victim to enter the rear of his vehicle and drove to 1046 Fayetteville Rd where they let the victim out and picked up another male suspect . Responding units flooded the area with a description of the suspect vehicle . Units spotted the vehicle near the apartment complex of 60 Paschal Blvd .
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle , but the vehicle attempted to evade units and increase speed . An investigator with the APD A . C . E . unit , initiated a pursuit as lead with supervisor approval granted the totality of circumstances . The suspect vehicle , still attempting to flee from police , attempted to cross an intersection and collided into a civilian vehicle . Officers then removed all three suspects with the assistance of Grady from the damaged carjacked vehicle . The suspects ( 1 juvenile male , Kentavious Allen , and Jeremiah Boyce ) were transported to Grady Detention with injuries sustained from the accident . The civilian struck sustained minor injuries .

: Jeremiah Boyceare all charged with Aggravated Assault , Kidnapping , Hijacking a Motor Vehicle . Allen , who also had an outstanding warrant on Fulton County for Dangerous Drugs , was additionally charged with that offense .
The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time .
