It ' s almost time to sign up for 
   summer bocce 
   from Sausalito Parks and Recreation! With two leagues to choose from , you can pick the competition level that is right for you and your team . Matches are played on the beautiful new courts at Dunphy Park .
   Bocce Social League
   Now in its second season , the Bocce Social League is for beginning or less competitive players and teams who enjoy a social atmosphere . The maximum number of teams will be 18 .
   More details on the summer Bocce Social League:

   
   Regular season: June 15 to August 10 .
   
   Playoffs and Super Roll: August 17 and 20 .
   
   Teams play one game per week on Wednesday .
   
   Game start times are 5:30 , 6:15 , and 7:00 p . m .
   Registration for returning captains will open on Monday , May 23 . Captains of new teams will be able to register beginning Wednesday , May 25 . To register your team , please use the 
   online registration portal
    from Sausalito Parks and Recreation .
   Bocce by the Bay League
   The Bocce by the Bay League is for skilled players and teams who enjoy a social competitive atmosphere . The league has been around since 2004 and has reached capacity with 36 teams in each of the past three years .
   More details on the summer Bocce by the Bay League:

   
   Regular season: June 6 to August 23 .
   
   Playoffs and Super Roll: August 27 .
   
   Teams play one game per week on Monday or Tuesday ( days and times vary by week ) .
   
   Game start times are 5:30 , 6:15 , and 7:00 p . m .
   Registration for captains of returning Bocce by the Bay League teams will open on Monday , May 23 . Captains of new teams will be able to register beginning Wednesday , May 25 . To register your team , please use the 
   online registration portal
    . Bocce Social League captains wanting to join the Bocce by the Bay League should register on May 23 .
   If you or a small group of friends are interested in playing but don ' t have a team , you can sign up to join an existing team that needs members .
