   2024 - 0685 , ID Theft:On 03/02/24 at 11:56 a . m . , deputies responded to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for a victim who reported an identity theft that occurred in the 0 - 99 block of Shermead Road in Montgomery . The investigation is ongoing
   2024 - 0688 , Illegal Transportation of Cannabis:
   On 03/2/24 at 3:29 pm , deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Boulder Hill Pass and Old Post Road . During the stop , Logan Merkel , a 20 - year old male from the 2600
   thblock of Carlsbad Circle in Aurora , was cited for unlawful transportation of cannabis and given a notice to appear .
   The Sheriff ' s Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
