☷Seven Defendants Sentenced to Federal Prison for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Hey guys , just wanted to let you know that seven people got sent to federal prison for trafficking meth and fentanyl . They all pleaded guilty to distributing and possessing these drugs . The charges were added on later , including firearms and more drug trafficking stuff . These guys were moving a lot of meth and fentanyl in Russellville , Conway , and nearby areas for a couple of years . Some of them have been in trouble before for drug stuff . They ' re looking at some serious time in prison because there ' s no parole in the federal system . Law enforcement found a bunch of drugs , including fentanyl tablets that looked like fruit snacks , and some guns during the investigation . The U . S . Attorney is cracking down hard on these drug dealers and making sure they face the toughest penalties possible . The ATF is teaming up with local and state police to stop gun trafficking and drugs like fentanyl from causing harm in our communities , according to ATF New Orleans Special Agent in Charge Joshua Jackson . Working alongside the U . S . Attorney ' s Office , ATF is committed to fighting these criminals to keep our neighborhoods safe . Chief of Police for Russellville Police Department , David Ewing , praised the collaborative effort to make River Valley communities safer . Fifth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office , Jeff Phillips , commended local law enforcement and Drug Task Forces for working with Federal authorities to remove drug traffickers from the streets . The investigation involved the ATF , Russellville Police Department , Pope County Sheriff’s Office , Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force , and Conway Police Department .
