   Bent Avenue update
   Although major construction has been completed on Bent Avenue , minor improvements such as landscaping and irrigation will continue to be worked on in the upcoming weeks , pending any weather delays . As of right now , there are no further lane closures scheduled .
   Traffic signal loop work continues
   Construction crews expect to continue work on installing permanent traffic signal technology at all stoplights in the Creek area during the week of Feb . 26 . This will help regulate the timing of the lights and allow the City to closely monitor the flow of traffic . Please be cautious while driving through the Creek area during this time .

   The San Marcos Creek Project is a 214 - acre project adjacent to the San Marcos Creek , generally bounded by:
   West San Marcos Boulevard to the north
   Grand Avenue to the east
   Via Vera Cruz to the west
   Discovery Avenue to the south
   The Creek Project will add the needed infrastructure to reduce long - standing flooding issues and improve traffic circulation while revitalizing and preserving the San Marcos Creek .
